UDA Elite Camp 2019

Performance Dance Co. & Pom

This past week Performance Company attended UDA Elite Camp, at the JW Desert Ridge Marriott Resort. Throughout the week, each team member learned an Elite Team Performance Routine, and an A & B Routine and were evaluated on all three.

As a team we received 15 Superior Ribbons, 17 Excellent Ribbons and 3 Outanding Ribbons, for our performance of the Elite Team Routine and A & B Routines. As a team, we were also awards “Most Improved” from the UDA Instructors, along with a Spirit stick and the Super Spirit stick, given to us by Valley Vista Pom team on the final day.

UDA All American Winners

Out of our team of 13, we had 5 girls participate in the All American Qualifying Performance Routine; 2 seniors, 2 juniors and 1 sophomore. Of those 5, we had Nikki Renteria (Senior) and Natalie Abril ( Sophomore), qualify for the All American Event in Rome! A HUGE congrats to all the girls that performed and went for it.

Drill Down Winners

At the end of each night, the team participated in Drill Downs, and would receive a gold ribbon for following the commands correctly and being one of the last few standing. Congrats to Nikki, Kayla, and Natalie!

We can’t wait to show off some of our routines we learned! See you next summer UDA!
